Bresser Messier AR-127S/635
This small but excellent 'short tube' refractory telescope is ideally suited for the beginner as well as for the more advanced astronomer. It possesses a lens opening of 127 mm and has a focal point of 635 mm. These characteristics, combined with the Petzval correction lens ensure a beautifully clear, contrasting and colourfast image. This makes this 'white dwarf' among the bresser telescopes eminently suitable for astrophotography use. The AR-127 comes standard with a Zenith mirror of 1,25" that makes it compatible with other oculars of the same format. The telescope tube has a useful handle that makes it easy to take it everywhere.
GOTO LXD-75 mount
With the introduction of the convenient GOTO-system you no longer waste precious time manually searching for a heavenly body. You will only manually enter the code of the object and the system will then search the right coordinates completely automatically. The secure astrophotographical tuning of the GOTO system ensures that you will be able to find planets, comets and nebulae with extreme precision. It has a catalogue with as many as 30,000 objects that you will be able to observe with just a few presses on the button. However, you will not only look for these objects, the system also allows you to keep following them across the two equatorial axes. The only thing that you have to ensure is that the telescope is well aligned with the poles.
Illuminated pole reticle
What makes the LXD-75 mount special is that it comes with an illuminated pole reticle making the whole alignment process a piece of cake. The LXD-75 has a bearing capacity of about 12 kg, which means that you will be able to mount telescopes with a relatively large opening. The software and database can be updated and you can also add 200 objects to it. In addition you can take 'guided tours' that follow the objects that are visible at that moment. The LXD-75 can also be expanded with an interface cable that allows you to control your telescope entirely with your pc.
Tripod and specifications
The tripod is, like the mount, of the highest quality The equatorial mount was developed to guarantee extreme accuracy. The 4 stainless steel ball bearings ensure an effortless movement across the RA and Dec-axis and with the aid of the slow motion controls you can follow and tilt very smoothly. The High-Precision Pointing function allows you to place objects in the centre of the image with with nearly surgical precision. This allows you to discern deep-sky objects that are on the observation boundary of your telescope. If you observe or photograph for a prolonged time, it can be necessary to make periodical corrections. The LXD-75 automatically adjusts th RA-axis giving you a constant and clear picture.
