Celestron X-cel LX 
Celestron's X-cel eyepieces feature a special multi-coating. These eyepieces contain the best possible lenses in order to counter chromatic aberration. Celestron's X-cel eyepieces contain six lenses that are adjusted to each other to ensure that the light is focused well.
The eyepieces have a 60 degree field of view and are available in seven versions with focal lengths of 2.3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 18 and 25mm. The shorter the focal length, the higher the magnification. A longer focal length produces a lower magnification, however, the images will be wider and sharper.

Coating
The eyepiece lenses have been coated with Celestron's multi-layer coating which eliminates unnecessary reflections and makes sure the light is better focused. In addition, chromatic abberation is reduced considerably.
