The Fjällräven Kånken is a true icon of a backpack. The bag was originally made in the 1970s to prevent back problems with Swedish schoolchildren. Now the Kånken is used to the full satisfaction of young and old alike. With its square shape and a capacity of 16 litres, the Fjällräven Kånken is the ideal backpack to take with you to school, work or a citytrip.
Simple but practical
The layout of the Fjällräven Kånken is simple, but not less practical. The spacious main compartment is easily accessible thanks to a long zipper. This zipper runs almost over three-quarters of the bag. The main compartment accommodates 2 full A4 folders. The front pocket is spacious enough for things you like to have at hand quickly. There is also a plastic plate hidden in the main compartment. On the one hand it protects the back against books that prick in your back and on the other hand it can be used as a seat, for example in the wet grass.
