These stylish Grisport Lago S3 shoes have an appearance that reminds one of mountain shoes. This is not odd, since Grisport while designing the STS series watched and listened well to the wishes of hikers and mountaineers. As a consequence, this Lago, but also other models of safety shoes from Grisport, have an excellent score in the areas of grip (anti-slip) and wearing comfort. As you see in the product image, the part that surrounds the ankles is made of a comfortable, soft fabric that is also used in running shoes. Walking in these shoes is therefore not only very safe, but also very pleasant.

Safety class S3
The Grisport Lago S3 belongs, as mentioned, to the highest safety class: S3. This implies among other things that the shoe must have a reinforced toe and an anti-perforation sole. So that is what the Lago has. A steel toe, that in addition works in a ventilating manner, protects against heavy objects that fall on the front part of the safety shoe. A kevlar midsole protects in turn against perforations by sharp objects. Contrary to steel kevlar is a lot lighter. The STS Lago is thus very light with a weight of only 1260 grammes.
