What does an evaporator do?

The evaporator technique is based on natural evaporation and uses cold water to keep the humidity level up. Vaporization mats have been installed in the cold water humidifier. The dry air is blown by a fan along the moist anti-bacterial filter cassettes, so that the air humidity is maintained. This method of air humidification is safer for children and pets than, for example, the vaporiser, which uses boiling water. Evaporator systems work virtually silently and use little electricity. This makes them ideal for the bedroom or children's room.
