Barometers

A barometer, also called an air pressure gauge, is a measuring instrument with which the air pressure can be measured. Rapid changes in air pressure are usually accompanied by a lot of wind or are the harbinger of storm. So if your barometer's position rises or falls quickly, it often means that it will change again. That way you can use your own barometer to make a prediction about the weather. To be able to read changes in air pressure even better, you can use a barograph.
