The McDavid 422R knee brace has the highest protection level category: level 3. This makes the brace suitable for the highest category knee injuries and the 422R is designed to prevent and aid the recovery of ACL damage and other knee ligament injuries. The Dual Disk hinges on either side are the lightest McDavid hinges that are available. This makes the brace very light compared to others in the same category. Yet it offers a lot of rest to the athletes, additional assistance is provided. The knee brace fixes the knee and takes up a portion of the pressure. The back panel is perforated: good ventilation means less perspiration.
