Steiner Nano-protection
The proved Steiner Nano-protection makes an unsurpassed clear view possible. The Nano-coating gives the lenses a dirt- and hydrophobic surface and protects the objective against aggressive influences from outside. This pressure system makes the binoculars resistant to temperatures between -40 ° C en +80°C. Changes in the temperature between these boundaries have no negative influence on the functioning of these binoculars. This nitrogen-pressure-system is easy to maintain and will function even after years of use. All Steiner Commander-models can resist to water pressure until a depth of 10 meters. This water resistance is made possible by a special seal so that no moisture, dust and dirt can penetrate into the binoculars.
