What is a cafetiere?
A cafetiere is a jug with a filter in which you pour coarsely ground coffee and hot water. The coffee sets for about four minutes, after which the filter is pushed through the pot from top to bottom. The well-fitting filter presses the ground coffee that floats in the hot water to the bottom. At the top of the pot is that can be fresh, hot coffeepoured directly. Ideal for when you have a visit!

Seven cups of delicious coffee

The cafetière is double-walled, so the coffee stays on temperature for a long time. The Stelton cafetière is easy to clean. The press itself is allowed in the dishwasher and the jug was just a hand-off.

Designer Erik Magnussen
Erik Magnussen was born in 1940 in Copenhagen. He trained as a potter at the School of Applied Arts and Design and graduated with a silver medal in 1960. In 1983 he was even crowned 'designer of the year' .
